Clemson QB Tajh Boyd and head coach Dabo Swinney spent part of their Tuesday press conference addressing an internet rumor that Boyd was $80,000 in debt from betting on NFL games. Boyd denied those rumors...
quote:

“I don’t know where that came from,” Boyd told reporters of the story, which surfaced on the website IBN Sports Wrap. “I don’t watch much NFL. I don’t have (Sunday Ticket)… I only get 2 games.”
Coach Swinney was on the same page...
quote:

“I’m sure that was a pretty credible website you pulled that from,” Swinney said to a reporter. “That’s the world we live in unfortunately. Anybody can pretty much say what they want.”

“That’s the world we live in unfortunately. Anybody can pretty much say what they want.” Yeah just like you said Clemson would beat FSU 5 outta 10 times and they just "caught Clemson on a bad night"

Most college athletes aren't JFF. He would need a good bit of scratch to get that deep in debt.

I read the title as "denies Grambling rumors" and immediately thought, what in the hell does Tajh have to do with Grambling.
