Auburn sophomore defensive end Bryron Cowart will miss the remainder of the season after having his appendix removed, according to ESPN's Derek Tyson.

Coward, a 6-3, 276-pound prospect from Seffner, FL (Armwood HS) is a former No. 1 overall recruit from the class of 2015.
