Alabama backup quarterback suffered a high ankle sprain vs. Tennessee Saturday and had a minor procedure on Sunday to fix the injury, according to head coach Nick Saban.

The injury happened on Hurts 21-yard touchdown run late in the third quarter. Saban says he will need just one week to recover.
