re: Is it legal to sell a gun with a trigger job? - dawg23
Is it ok to sell this gun as is? Do I need to let the buyer know about the trigger work?
a. it's "OK" (not illegal) to sell it as-is. b. But I can't imagine why you wouldn't want to disclose to the buyer that trigger work was done. If there is some sort of negligent injury later, I ...
Not really a shotgun shooter at all.
Kelly: It's easy to get overloaded with good (and sometimes bad) advice about how to shoot clay targets. If you can fit in some lessons prior to the shoot (with somebody like Kane Altazin - someone mentioned his contact info in a thread a few we...

I might be wrong but I think it's actually $600/team for the "basic" entry fee. I haven't seen//heard any mention of shells being provided....

re: Sporting clays? - dawg23
but at $1200/team, I would not be surprised if they furnish your shells for you anyway, and there is always an opportunity to buy shells at the event
1. Most shoots do not (although a few do) provide shells as part of the entry fee. Those that do almost always mention this on th...

re: Benelli's ComfortTech System - dawg23
It's still gonna recoil more than a gas gun equipped w/ a recoil reducer. But I think Benelli has probably gone the "extra mile" with that system. Every little bit helps if you're gonna shoot 100 clay targets during an outing - so yes, pay the extra $$....

re: What's your defense ammo? - dawg23
That's what a buddy had in his weapon when it "went off" after ejecting said mag, etc. It hit the floor, then the ceiling and then passed through someone's palm if I'm not mistaken.
Not saying it couldn't, or didn't, happen --- but that's a really unlikely series of events....
Picked up some Critical Duty the other day. Are there any clear-cut winners in the defense ammo category?
Critical Duty is decent ammo, but it's far from being one of the "clear-cut winners." LE agencies around the country are using ..... Federal HST Speer Gold Dot Winchester...
I keep getting these post on facebook saying it's legal to take the class online. There are two types of online training being touted. The f...

re: .45 ACP Sale - 500 rounds for $140 - dawg23
That's not a bad price, and that's decent ammo. But there's a lot of Blazer (brass case) ammo out there for $130/500. Example: [link=(https://www.outdoorlimited.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=cci5230)]LINK 1[/link] These folks have Blazer (brass) for $280/1000 with free shipping (on ca...
I'd just bring in the paper application. Do my prints. Pay. And be done?
You could -- but it's far better (you'll get your permit a lot quicker) to submit your application online. The online application doesn't require any notary services. Nor do you need to submit a photo -- they u...

re: Need some questions answered regarding my conceal application - dawg23
1. Does it matter where I go to get finger printed?
Yes. I see you're in Mandeville, so you may not want to drive to BR to get printed at LSP HQ. But that's the best place -- period. We're told that roughly 40% of the "ink & roll" prints get rejected by the FBI because they're i...
I like their re-usability the most. I had the same jar of dark red/orange pork frogs for over 10 years.
Yep. I always add mixture of anise oil and mineral oil to the bottles. Not sure it attracted bass, but I know for sure that they hold onto the jig longer. ...
