re: Mowers can be dangerous
Posted by rhodester on 4/11/13 at 1:04 pm
One of my wife's family members was killed in one of the freakiest accidents I've ever heard of. He was a locomotive engineer and was riding in the engine passing through a rural area when he was struck in the temple by a railroad spike that was thrown by a lawnmower as he passed by. Killed him inst...

re: Another F-250 Thread - Used 2003 King Ranch with 6.0L
Posted by rhodester on 11/18/12 at 8:27 pm
DO NOT BUY A 6.0! Especially an '03 (the first year they made them) like the last guy said, lots of problems with them. If you look hard enough you can find an 03' with the 7.3L and have much fewer issues with it in the long run. If you offered me a 6.0 with 30,000 miles and a 7.3 with 250,000 miles...
re: Do you fork out the extra money for Drake and Under Amour hunting clothes?
Posted by rhodester on 11/13/12 at 2:48 pm
Drake gear is well worth it in my opinion. I have the MST equader 1/4 zip pullover jacket (the one with the hood). I think of everything I own it is the most I've ever been satisfied with any purchase. Seriously, not a gun, not any electronics, but that jacket. ...
