The trailer for Brad Pitt's Book adaptation for World War Z just popped up on Itunes. I cant link it but it looks like a grander scale of I am legend. Zombies are super fast and have an antlike mentality. Have to admit I am a little dissapointed.

I'm okay with the zombies moving fast. I enjoyed the remake of Dawn of the Dead and I understand why, for today's audience, the zombies need to be fast and scary.

That said, the movie looks nothing like the book, at all. Still, I'll be seeing it

Dawn of the Dead zombies are not even close to describing the butchering that we see in that trailer. frick CGI and it's bastardization of creativity.

Hordes of zombies sprinting at me at full speed is scary shite. A tidal wave of cartoon monsters is just shite.

that makes no sense, especially with the success of the walking dead

I agree with Slow.

A lot of the tension and terror in the book depends on the pace of the zombies. What people do to avoid them, what they do to combat them, etc. Once they sped up the pace of the zombies, they have changed the entire premise/foundation of the book.

It is World War Z in name only.

It's like the director read the first five pages of the book and then decided to take a shite on it.

I'm VERY disappointed in the trailer for this film.

Fast zombies are one thing. The ridiculous dog piling and climbing the wall in the trailer are another.

I still say if they got the "Dark Seekers" right in I Am Legend that movie could have been great (with the alternate ending as well)

The CGI "zombies" in I Am Legend kinda killed it for me.

I guess I might as well find the script of this movie online and do the same.
