Bourbon Street has spiraled down to a 24 hour Shooting gallery- some misses, dome wounds, some dead. I've lived here all my life- 76 years, and remember when Bourbon was a safe place with nationally famous strippers-- Champagne Lady, Linda Bridgette, Allouette,Blaze Starr, etc....
LSU 14, ARKY 7 1966 Cotton Bowl, enabling BAMA to claim legitimate Natty by beating Nebraska in Orange Bowl that nite. Strange things can happen. Also 1949 Cinderella Seniors defeated SEC Champions Tulane 21-0. Tigers were huge underdogs, Slaughtered 35-0 by Wilkinson's Sooners in Sugar Bowl....

Fifhting Tigers was created by Paul Deitzel in 1956, joining Fighting Irish and Fighting Illini...
I remember him well-- loved any excuse to start brawls at either the Tiger or the Bengal on Highland Road....

I always liked them-- would like them for ALL home games...
My favorite kickoff time. Reminiscent of '50's-'60's when kickoff times were not dictated by conference or TV networks, but demanded by LSU Athletic Dept. Drove home the notion of Saturday Night in Tiger Stadium. (Yes, I am old.)...

No, fools. He is the most loyal, patient, honorable Tiger Athlete I've ever seen, and will decide what's best for his team and himself, like Matt Flynn....
Representing Sweden, he was able to compete in many European/International meets last 2 years. Track meets much more numerous in Europe than in U. S....
