What was the spread of UF 97? Pigs Fly has to be number 1 though.

I attended the Pigs fly Game with my 2 & 6 year old and lovely bride so that is my final answer! Geaux Tigers!

Tomorrow would be a bigger upset!

Watched it in a sports bar while visiting my girlfriend in Columbus Ohio.
One of those games where you never forget where you were.

I think LSU beat the top ranked razorbacks like 6-3 or something in the cotton bowl late 60’s.

while it was a nice win, the fact that LSU made the Cotton (when bowl bids were meaningful, and the Cotton was top-tier) kinda rules that out.

Without question, the biggest one I ever witnessed was when we beat Florida in '97. They were ranked #1 in the nation and on a 50+ game winning streak (if my memory serves me). Although we were ranked somewhere around #15-20, no one gave us a chance. It is the loudest, most exciting game I've ever witnessed in person and I'll never forget it!

they lost to FSU in ‘96 regular season so their win streak was in single digits for that game.

I think they were favored by 21 but the 1966 Cotton Bowl is the primary reason Older Arkansas fans hate LSU so much.
They were poised to win the Cotton Bowl and be named back-to-back national champions. We ruined it.

Arkansas comes into the Cotton Bowl game with a winning streak of 22 games and are heavy favorites to beat Louisiana State. A parade of floats circles the field before the game and fans cheer from the stand. The Arkansas Razorbacks go home after a skinning in the hands of the L.S.U. Tigers who upset them 14 to 7.

Sidenote: The biggest SEC Comeback was at home Aubie Aids in 2017 down 20 pts.
They were #8 and we were unranked but probably not that big of a point spread.

That Auburn team would have been the first two loss team in the playoffs too if they beat UGA again in the SEC Championship game.

LSU UF 97… my freshman year. They were number 1 and had 55 game SEC winning streak I believe

Yep. UF 97 was monumental. I was a freshman in the Tiger Band that year. Still the absolute loudest I have ever heard a crowd anywhere in any stadium at any point in my life. I still have a little chunk of the field and a piece of the goalpost foam (I have no idea why) from that game.
