Come on man, dreadlocks of doom pitched more than 6 innings that year. Hell he probably pitched close to 6 in the CWS alone.
However, he is another example of a very effective reliever that PM significantly underutilized. ...

Ok I agree with 2013... So we only have 3-4 year lapses between having a top tier bullpen. This is acceptable and understandable for a mid-major program, not a program with an Intimidator billboard. ...

IMO not since 2009. We are very dependent on having a dominant starter like Nola or Lange go close to the distance or we are in trouble.
Newman is our only consistent reliever this year, and correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems we never have more than 1 and they are typically underutilized. ...

Our O still would have had a hard time with TD Ameritrade and PM still would have pulled pitchers too early or left them in too long ...

We used to be and should still be the bama football of baseball. We are a program built with the facilities, reputation and resources to reload when we lose a bunch of starters, not rebuild. Plain and simple; no excuses. ...

How do we even know the Spurs or Thunder will be fully healthy by the west finals? With all the dinosaurs on the Spurs one of them is due to fall victim to playoff intensity and physicality. Not to mention the Spurs playing on 1 days rest in the west finals is iffy...
