Let's start off by saying: yes, I am an extremely jelly Thunder fan.

But holy shite, the Warriors (who have the best player on the planet signed to a deal $4mil under the max already) lose said player yet almost for sure won't even be tested now while he heals due to CP3 going down.

Joe Lacob made one hell of a deal with the Devil, pun intended.

UPDATED: Griffin done too. KD, Westbrook, Kawhi, Aldridge better keep their heads on a swivel.

Maybe not, but I would bet it could have gone 6-7 games.

We don't know for sure how good the Warriors will be because they're playing the heartless Rockets right now. If the Blazers move on that could be a real series. Not to mention the Thunder or Spurs beating them with probably hobbled Steph.

Ok?

Everyone assumed correctly 1-3 would be cake walks. They have been assuming Warriors close out Houston game 5.

I know Houston is a wreck but I'd pick them over DAL, it would be pretty much the same series as last year.

Also Portland will be a tougher out than expected

They still have to play the Spurs/Thunder winner, and Steph may not be fully healed by then.

I was thinking this exactly when I saw the CP3 injury....the "minimal" diagnosis of 2 weeks then re-evaluated only meant for them to see where they are after 2 games in the conference semis without Curry. The Warriors are loving that the Clippers are getting pushed to 6-7 games now. Curry is likely out 4 weeks I believe, but if their back was against the wall he would come back as soon as he could. Best case scenario is playing out and he'll be back healthier than he would be against the Spurs in the Conference Finals, but don't think any of these little injuries are going away. They will linger the rest of the playoffs...

Still sticking with my prediction as soon as the Spurs signed Aldridge last July. Spurs in 6 over Cavs, Duncan/Ginobli retire

I do like the way the Thunder are playing right now, KD is not playing his best and they are rolling. Kanter is playing like everyone thought he could when he was drafted. I love the Thunder Depth. Probably 2nd best behind GS, but I think in a series of games SA and Pop get them. Unfortunate that SA and OKC are on the same side, I wish the GS would have a "challenge"

Manu is probably gone regardless. But yeah, winning a title would be the best way to go out. Take the David Robinson route.

Cavs are playing good ball right now but it is still April, Come June who knows?

I just love the way the Spurs are currently built. Vet/Youth/Defense/3's/Depth/coaching...not missing much from the equation to win a title.

CP 3 is always hurt, same as his time in New Orleans
He will never win a title
AD is injury prone too

Only x factor is health/good fortune. Keeping my fingers crossed, but they've played this season pretty much perfectly thus far.
