Hull Coatings

I have a 15x48 express all-weld made with very thin sheet. I toss and turn at night because I do not think the hull without a coating will hold up to a stump at high speed. Anybody been catching specks? No trouble with the reds but having trouble finding specks in this transition. Not sure how much these cold fronts are affecting them....
This season I set cameras as usual but didn't see fawns in August like normal. On the stand last weekend I saw multiple does with fawns at their side, a considerably high number more than years past. Just bought a 10/22 and every other shot doesn't feed. This is with standard ten round mag. Is this a mag well issue, a faulty mag, or does this happen to every 10/22 made after 2000?...
