Going to plant mine now; so if the drought continues, it's probably my fault.

Yep, it had rained 3,285 days straight without a single day long break. I went and bought some seed and it hasn't rained since!

i waited last year to plant until right before the season started. It had been raining at least 3 times a week until then. You guessed it, it didn't rain for a month after I planted. My plots didn't do shite. I was hunting over bare dirt the entire season.

This year, I planted 3 weeks ago and we got a little rain. I went yesterday and everything is coming up pretty nicely. I could see turnips, peas, and winter wheat coming up. I may throw a little eye in 2 weeks when we go for the youth hunt.

Get y'all a couple of those 300 gallon totes. Rig up a piece of 3/4" pvc pipe with some 1/8" holes as a header on a trailer. That can water a good area.

It's like that every year. One of the hardest things to do is get a bow plot started and statistically Ovtober is out driest month of the year.

I hope to get plots planted the first week of November
