I signed up for it the day after their announcement and my invite is still 3-4 weeks away. Just wondering if anyone was on it yet and how it was working out. I looked through the Reddit thread, and most reviews were pretty solid.

I am. If you have a single phone on sprint or t mobile you are just getting more service area at a cheaper cost.

I'm currently on AT&T and paying out the nose for a phone I pretty much use on a Wifi at home and the office. I'd say 75% of my use is where I have a Wifi connection. My current bill is around $90 per month. Seems like a no-brainer, though Sprint and T-Mobile's networks aren't as built as AT&T's is.

That's just for international. 4G LTE speeds in the US.

I had sprint before and now i have double the service. I have been very very please with it around BR. Was at the camp this weekend where sprint and tmoble doesnt have good service and the wifi calling was great. got all texts and calls via wifi.
BTW you have to have the nexus 6. When i was going through the checkout i was mad cause i was going to have to drop 500 for the phone......well they are giving you interst free loan on the phone for 2 years. so it is like 21-22 bucks extra on your bill for 2 years instead of dropping 500 upfront.

quote:yea cause that includes T mobile's coverage as well. that is why it is a no brainer for a sprint or tmobile to swap if you can.
Project Fi coverage map is here.
The 4G LTE coverage looks far better than our current Sprint coverage in this area.

The user reviews on it seem to be pretty positive. The biggest negatives I've seen are the size(same size as the iPhone 6 Plus) and the camera isn't that great.
What do you think of it so far?
Also, if you don't like the case that came with the welcome pack, here's a link to one for $4.99 with free shipping. I ordered one the other day.

I signed up when I first heard about it and just got a invite the other day. Had no idea it was Nexus 6 only. They are giving $150 off the N6 so I will just buy that and sell the LG G3. I will be traveling overseas a lot soon and this will save tons of $$
quote:i like the case and how it feels but i just ordered 2 of those because of the awesome kickstand. The OG EVO with the kickstand was way before its time. I loved that thing

I went and purchased it off of Amazon for the same price tag with overnight shipping. Selling my LG G3 on Swappa so that I only come out of pocket about $250.
Google will soon own every aspect of my life it seems.
