True. They're probably the class of the MLS academies. They're pumping out some good players.

Yep, I think it was like 3-4 of our starters in the u20 world cup earlier this year came out of the Dallas academy.

Neither for at least 16 years, so 4 cycles. US within the next 3 cups after that.

So US.

I think England's actually in pretty decent shape to compete in the next couple World Cups if they can get good play out of their back line.

They need a manager who isn't stuck in the stone age.

And non-fractured bullshite. The two best British players are Welsh. Bale and Ramsey would make England so much fricking better.

Rooney is better than Ramsey

Bale ill give you but Wazza is the second best brit playing

No way there will ever be a unified team. Bale if he really wanted to could have played for England same with Giggs. But the Welsh are ultra nationalistic.

I don't see either winning one in my lifetime.

Despite the academies, I don't see the US getting significantly better unless the game miraculously became a poor kids' game instead of a suburban minivan game.

I think we'll be significantly better in the next 6-10 years. I can't remember a time where we've had this many promising youngsters.

A lot of people are on drugs on these boards. The best American player ever is Landon Donovan. England's had dozens of players better than Donovan over the years. The main problem with England is the same problem that plagued Spain for all those years. Most of their players care a lot more about playing for club than country. They've had lots of talent over the years but it's always felt like a great collection of individual talent rather than a team.

Typical Nads response. You're going to use the latest Gold Cup response for your basis? Let me know how England did at their latest tournament which is WC 2014 if we are going to use your logic.
