re: TJ yeldon 3rd RB taken in the Draft. - Bench McElroy
Eddie Lacy is one of the best backs in the league, AND is a receiving threat, and he isn't exactly a burner.
Lacy ran a 4.44 at the combine and is a much more powerful back in general. His physical traits are outstanding for a running back. Yeldon is pretty big at 220 lbs but he i...

Tiger Woods ends relationship with Lindsey Vonn - Bench McElroy
Lindsey Vonn After nearly three years together, Tiger and I have mutually decided to end our relationship. I will always cherish the memories that we've created together. Unfortunately, we both lead incredibly hectic lives that force us to spend a majority of our time apart. I will always ...

re: Would you be in favor of adding more games every year? - Bench McElroy
There's no logical reason for the SEC not to play nine conference games especially with the permanent cross-divisional opponent. It makes a lot of sense to have a 13 game schedule with nine conference games....

re: In 2007, Bama went 7-6 and zero players drafted - Bench McElroy
Okay, we're going around in circles here. I'll end it with this. There's no more excuses for Butch this year. He'll have three full recruiting classes under his belt. Their schedule is very favorable. Bama is their only tough road test. Games against Oklahoma, Arkansas, South Carolina, and Georgia w...

re: In 2007, Bama went 7-6 and zero players drafted - Bench McElroy
Didn't bama lose to mighty Louisiana- Monroe that year?
Yes they did. So what. Most great coaches struggle in their first year. There's a huge difference between teams struggling in a coach's first year compared to their second year. Most great coaches at a top school turn the pro...
The he'll retire for a year or two and come back to fight for the middleweight title and try to get to 50-0
Why do you think he'll retire for a year or two? Maybe to wait for Golovkin to move up to 168 so he could avoid him or some other reason?...

re: In 2007, Bama went 7-6 and zero players drafted - Bench McElroy
I meant brutally tough SEC in general. They played four SEC teams that finished in the top 15 plus an Arkansas team loaded with talent. The SEC was much stronger back then that it is now....

re: In 2007, Bama went 7-6 and zero players drafted - Bench McElroy
Urban wouldn't have lost to an 8-5 Oklahoma team or lost to a Mark Richt coached Georgia team and he certainly wouldn't have lost to Florida and Missouri at home. And a better comparison would have been 2014 Tennessee to 2008 Alabama. Saban and Butch were pretty much in the exact same situation. The...

re: In 2007, Bama went 7-6 and zero players drafted - Bench McElroy
In 2007, Bama didn't lose a single game by more than seven points in a brutally tough SEC West. Tennessee lost by 31 points to Ole Miss and 24 points to Oklahoma. Plus the SEC East was garbage last year. A great coach like an Urban or Saban would have won ten games with last year's Tennessee' s squa...

re: Who will be Boxing's big PPV draws once Pac and Floyd retire? - Bench McElroy
Alvarez obviously. He already has a huge following in Mexico. Golovkin has a chance to be massive with his fighting style. He just needs to beef us his resume a little bit. Also if you know anything about the history of boxing, you would know that huge stars come out of nowhere all the time. ...

re: Ronda Rousey would kick FM ass - Bench McElroy
And you greatly underestimate Floyd power. This is the same man who has knockouts in 13 of his first 15 fights, ko'd a prime Hatton and dropped an undefeated prime Diego Corrales five times on his way to a stoppage win. You're telling me Ronda Rousey can take a punch better than all of those men? Yo...

re: Mayweather needs to Fight Gennady Golovkin - Bench McElroy
I have to agree with you. At this point, Golovkin is the only boxer with a prayer of beating Floyd. And GGG is a small middleweight. I don't think he would have too much trouble making 154 or fighting at a catch weight. I would love to see that fight happen....
