So, in other words, you don't respect rural voters, many of whom are black and Hispanic

Something tells me that if rural areas weren't so republican, you'd be singing a fairly different tune. And if cities weren't so liberal, I'd be singing a fairly different tune

We both need to understand that no matter where you live, you have a right to your opinion

I'll put Seattle up against bumfrick Oklahoma any day in terms of thickness of bubble.

Seattle has over 700K people about 92% went Hillary.

LOL. You're out of your fricking mind. A person in Seattle can know 100K people and not know a conservative!

Bumfrick is in a local bubble and, I suppose can stay that way if they never turn on anything electronic. The second they do though, they're inundated with liberalism.

Seattle dude? Nah. That fricker can go YEARS without hearing a conservative idea articulated by a conservative simply by avoiding a few channels on the TV and radio.

Than the liberal enclaves like Seattle, Portland, DC Metro, Madison, WI, Chicago? LOL. No. It's not even close.

Following up on this:

Counties in Oklahoma, % (n) voted for Trump in the 2016 Presidential election:

Alfalfa 85.6 (1,931)
Beaver 88.8 (1,987)
Beckham 83.5 (6,287)
Cimmaron 89.3 (962)
Ellis 88.2 (1,610)

Some nice diverse rural areas for you.

And when your opinion that urban areas are more monolithic in thought than rural areas is wrong, you need to admit it.

On average, rural areas are more of a bubble. Yes, there are trust fund kids from NYC that live in bubbles and there are small town folks who know more about the world than most, but we're talking averages here.

King County had almost 1M people vote in the 2016 Presidential election, and only went for Hilary 72.1% to Trump's 29.8%.

King county includes hundreds of precincts in suburbs and exurbs

The more fair way to look at it is on a precinct level.

There are precincts in Philly and Detroit that haven't cast a vote for a republican for president since 1972

Precincts are tiny and don't really encapsulate the scope of a population. I'm sure we can find precincts with nearly (or even exactly) 100% for each candidate spread throughout the country.

But the OP was about county, so let's stick to that.

Again, on the whole, rural folk live in a much thicker bubble than urban folk.

Hell, let's look at it at the city limits level.

By that metric, Seattle went for Clinton 88% to Trump's 8%. That is nearly the exact inverse of Beaver County, Oklahoma, with 88.8% for Trump.

Do you really believe that the thousand or two people in Beaver County, Oklahoma are exposed to as much diversity of thought on a daily (weekly, monthly, annual) basis ON AVERAGE compared to voters in Seattle?

Because if so, I have a bridge to sell your dumb arse...

So, you found counties with 6K people in them that are actually MORE Diverse than a city with 700K.

And, you think the latter is less bubbled?

Holy shite man. Thank you for proving my point.

Doesn't apply to Portland. It's whiter than small town Iowa.

No. They aren't. They are exposed to BUTT LOADS MORE.

I mean, obviously, you realize the fact that the folks in Beaver County are still inundated with mass media. That's why you're avoiding that point.

So. You've cited a place with less than 6000 people that is roughly the same diversity of thought as a place with 700K and you see the former as more bubbled than the latter.

LOL. You're just not terribly bright.

Yes, I think we can both agree that the good citizens of Beaver County likely watch Fox News and receive their mass media from them.

Which proves my point. Thanks!

Living in a bubble is a choice. Nothing is stopping a Seattle or a Oklahoma citizen from researching both sides of an issue

You think "mass media" is only network or cable news?
