Sure, you listed the most extremes, and stopped right before they were going to get to the 60% range like I said

Your error was assuming i was working from a list.

If you want more beyond list 2, rest assured, i won't run out

No, I dont think they realize that. They have this uopian view of all rural people being hardnosed workers who dont take no handouts from nobody, and city folk being leaches......

it wouldn't surprise me if that is why they feel left behind. they get welfare and the amounts they get are so puny, and they think so black teenager in the city is getting rich off of it.

And why are you including conservative regions

You specifically said "even in places said to be only liberals" you still would see 6/4

Try to follow along:

This thread is people making the inference that large urban area are extremely liberal. I pointed out in these "extreme liberal cities" they actually arent that liberal.

I then went down the list of the 8 largest cities

Actually, no. We are using YOUR assertion.

quote:

In these cities where "it is only liberals," the truth is, it is likely a 60/40 split.

So, you dutifully created a list avoiding the ones that meet YOUR criteria AND tried to flatten current data by using 16 years worth of data

AND YOU STILL ended up with 4 cities over 75%

All while dutifully ignoring that YOUR criteria wasn't "any city", it was In these cities where "it is only liberals,"

So, that's cute how you ignored San Fran, Seattle, Austin, DC, Atlanta, Madison, WI, etc etc etc.

Nice try at sleight of hand.

Your assertion was wrong.

Just own up to it. In In these cities where "it is only liberals", it's nothing close to a 60/40 split. Hell, in some of them, you have a better chance of being raped on any given day than of talking to a conservative.

You are so dense. I was responding to the notion that large cities are extremely liberal.

I was not independently saying that "liberal cities" arent liberal.

You are insane.

Then, you flattened out the data......and even THEN, your assertion failed as 3 were still monolithic.

Absent flattening the data as you did, you would have had at least 5 at or higher than 80%.

And, I'm being kind and ignoring that you used cities rather than metro areas which I'm certain was no accident.

Metro would have put DC Metro on your list along with Dallas, Miami, Boston and Atlanta.

But that's really irrelevant because the reality is, the assertion that "even in these liberal cities, you get 60/40 has died a harsh death in this thread.

So yeah. I chose liberal places cause, he asserted that even there, I'd find 60/40.

Conservative people like independence and believe in self-reliance. This type of person tends to likes his space.

Liberals believe in groupthink and that the government has an obligation to take care of its citizens. This kind of person prefers to be around others.

You should be more clear next time.

"Context" clues are a shade opaque given that you responded to cahoots who made no such assertion.

No one in here is psychic to know what elements of the prior 4 pages you were focusing upon.

You said, "in these cities where there's only liberals"............

Be more clear.

Well he didn't say every city would be 60/40, he said:
quote:

In these cities where "it is only liberals," the truth is, it is likely a 60/40 split.
In most of those places, save for the Northeast and West Coast, 60/40 is pretty close to accurate.
