Wow. Now recalling ALL PRODUCTS.

Everything.

How deep are their pockets? Can they survive this?

CNN has it as the top link but no real story yet.

Wall Street Journal has it but need to pay to read full story.

Several other sites reporting it.

Found Listeria in the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream.

If I could find some, I would buy it.

So, there's that.

I'm sure they've "numbered their feathers for just such an occasion, boy."

I don't understand why so many grocers still had their products in stores the past few weeks despite the listeria . Looks like I'll switch to Ben & Jerry's or Haagen Daaz.

I think the first recall was for specialty products. Then the pints got hit. I think banana pudding.

Winn Dixie was still selling it all after the second hit (including Banana Pudding) but I did go to a another chain that had plenty of blue ice cream but several notes on the door said it couldn't be purchased.

With a full recall, I would imagine most stores will stop selling it. Too big a liability at this point. Especially with one of their most popular pints now under the microscope.

Careful. Ben & Jerry's has more than twice the calories.

I bought 4 pints Sunday. I was hungover - I didn't eat all of it.

I had some Blue Bell ice cream at my mom's house about three weeks ago and am 90% sure I had contaminated ice cream. Had the fever, aches, nausea, diarrhea, stiffness. I'm young and healthy so it passed after a few days. That first 24 hours was rough, though.

Gonna bet they have an insurance policy that includes products recall protection. They will be fine

Just bought two pints over the weekend for a future dinner gathering. Threw out the receipt as always.
