I will be going to Texas De Brazil soon and want to know what is the best method to prepare your stomach for a large plethora of meats? Should I eat lunch? Small meals throughout the day? Lettuce?

Approaching an all you can eat dinner like you're running a marathon.

A lunch salad or previous nights leftovers are what I go with when I'm expecting an evening of gluttony.

Load up on carbs so you'll have enough energy to put back all that meat. Lots of french fries should work fine.

we got gift cards for Christmas, I've never been. I've tried something similar in Ohio and the crappy Brazilian buffet in Kenner.
I'm personally looking forward to it.

Eat normally just don't go crazy the night before or at lunch. Don't fast though, that will just make your stomach shrink up and you'll get full faster.

Think of the tortoise and the hare. Slow and steady wins the race.

Drink several hundred gallons of water for all the salt you're about to ingest.

I was going to suggest keeping a few bottles of water by the bed post meal because the OP may get thirsty during the night.

As I've said before, the salad bar and soup are better than the meat in my opinion. If you want to eat only the meat, stay away from the great bar and lobster bisque which was pretty darn good. If I ever return, I'll stick with the salad bar only.

I am a big fan of their lobster bisque so I will probably have a couple bowls of that.

Appreciate the tips guys.

I always start with a bowl of bisque and typically get one more for dessert

Protip: drop a couple of those spicy shrimp from the salad bar in your lobster bisque. Awesome

Not true.

Eat as fast as you can so you don't feel full until you ingest as much as humanly possible.

Same here.
True story: last time I went I gorged myself. No big deal. I went back for one last bowl of bisque.

When I was walking to the car, I barfed. Nice part about it was, it was only that last bowl of bisque. Not hunks of meat and cheese, etc.

Good times.
