They are a complete mystery to me. I've never had one or used one. I think they are magic. Like magnets.

I've secretly hoped one of my ovens would die so I could justify getting one. I want one.

ISWYDT

I had one at my last house. Works well. This time we will go with a steam oven which is great for baking bread.

Our top oven can be convection or conventional. Sometimes I don't even notice which I select.

Cook faster and your food comes out crispier. I will not own a non convection oven again.

Most home convection ovens can be used in a conventional oven mode. Once you use get used to using the convection mode, you will rarely use the conventional oven settings.

We have one. Works good (cooks faster) with meats. Other than that it does nothing special.

Would buy another even though we only use our convection option about 20% of the time. Most of the time, I am content to cook the old slower no fan was used to cook this tenderloin (ASFPOCC) way.
