Forgot how good this was. Had dinner tonight at a Spanish restaurant, and it has to be one of my new favorites.
Shrimp skewers
Jamon serrano wrapped scallops
Cheese board
Lamb loin w/ mint salsa verde
And finished it off with flan

Delicious

I am going with the paella next time, they had a seafood paella that looked amazing. We just got a bunch of tapas and a pitcher of peach sangria

No Spanish restaurants in BR, went to Lola's on Esplanade in NOLA tonight. We had excellent ceviche, gazpasho (not as good as mine) and seafood paella.

One of the highlights of Tampa cuisine is traditional Spanish and Cuban dishes. Of course the locals grew up eating it so they could give a shite, but for someone only somewhat recently exposed to it I cant get enough..

Nice. Love that place. You have "patches" for a waiter?

Where is Barcelonas Tapas? Need to try both. No excuse for missing Grenada as it's nearly walking distance from my place.

Barcelona is behind Milk Bar, Madigans and Camellia grill. Great build out. Haven't been in years to eat though

Do you even Jamon, bro? Jamon Iberico is where it's at.

Yes. Actually both places are only a few blocks from each other.

Been years since I've been but wasn't wowed. Spanish food, particularly Tapas, poorly translates in America.

It just depends where you go. The place I went imports a lot of their ingredients fresh daily
