Where can I get the best steak in New Orleans?

Other than Mr. John's, Ruth's Chris, and Dickie Brennan's Steakhouse

Friend of mine is doing something pretty cool: LINK

I'd say the rare Hanger at La Boca is the best. One of their skirts would also make the list.

Not certain looking for the best steak is an experiment or cool, but check out Doris Metropolis. It's brand new.

Cool! Sounds like a great experience to me. I can understand that it was overpriced though.

May need to give Chophouse another look. I went once and was underwhelmed to say the least.

The answer, OP, is La Boca. And by a country mile.

Before Mr. John's chef left, it was them....

La Boca is great. Different than a typical prime steakhouse tho.

Have not tried Desi's place since it first opened. Need to try Chophouse again, was underwhelmed as well.

I'm guessing some of y'all are forgetting that Crazy Johnnies is still open. Be sure to ask for the wine list.

Love me some La Boca, but to me the best single steak in N.O. is the dry aged prime NY strip at Delmonico.
