I sit i a cube all day and can get hungry due to boredom. I eat carrots and fruit for my snack but it just isn't doing it for me anymore. What are some other healthy options that are simple to eat/make?

Salted an/or chocolate almonds are my to to right now, but you have to be careful. If you're not doing low carb, they can cause you to gain weight. I can usually grab a handful and be satisfied until lunch or the end of the day, though.

Yes, Stink there is a town call Centerville between Houston and Dallas on I45. It's the self proclaimed beef jerky capital of the world. Awesome place on the east side of 45, a must stop if you're out that way.

Sorry for the hijack

Try some Babybel cheeses, a few wheat thins, and some prosciutto or pepporoni slices. Not a lot. Just a little to hold you over.

When I was a kid, ,y dad hunted around that area and would always bring back jerky from that place every time he went there. You are correct Sir, they make some fine jerky in those parts!

i dip carrots, cucumbers, and red peppers in hummus. pretty good if you've never tried it, although not terribly different from what you're already doing

My go to snack at home is plain greek yogurt with half a scoop of protein powder/serving of greek yogurt.
While at work I usually do nuts, turkey jerky, Quest bars (this is my main snack. I love them), or ostrim sticks (ostrich/beef stick).
And a ton of water
