I'm in the market for some new hunting boots since my last pair bit the dust at the end of season last year. I'd been using the Redhead 800gm thinsulate water boots and I wasn't really that happy with them. I've heard good things about the Muck boots, mainly from here, but was wondering what ya'll were using.

I was looking at a pair of lacrosse that looked like they would be nice. I may have to go muck though. They wouldnt be so popular if they weren't any good.

Not sure. It's pretty awesome though, and all people wear around here.

Xtratuf® Boots are the number one choice in Alaska. Fisherman won't even consider any other brand because of the comfort, grip and how long they last. These folks work 16 hours a day and wear rubber boots for months at a time, so they have to be good. Watch a TV show like Discovery Channel's Deadliest Catch or Gold Rush and you will see everyone wearing this boot. They are as comfortable to wear as your favorite pair of sneakers. You will never buy another brand after you wear them once.
Xtratuff boots have been called the Dutch Harbor dress shoe as they are accepted in every place of business on the island. They are so soft a pliable that it is common practice to fold them down in half and they fit underneath the leg of the jeans so it appears that you are wearing a pair of shoes instead of rubber boots.
-The hand layered triple dipped seamless neoprene creates the toughest waterproof boot we know of. It is also resistant to corrosives and acids.
-A smooth fabric lining makes this boot easy to put on and take off.
-Cushioned insoles for long lasting comfort.
-Soles have a special chevron tread for an excellent grip on slippery surfaces.
We stock the most common 16" high in the insulated and non-insulated versions. If you work in colder areas the insulated boot is only slightly thicker and still very comfortable. The insulation is not visible from inside or out and won't get wet.
Insulated only comes in one thickness but I've worn to 15 below with total comfort
Friend of mine even wrote a book about em and the loyalty of people in the NW to the brand.. Awesome boots, very versatile. Even qualify for business casual around here.
