re: ENO hammocks. - Nodust
ENO isn't bad for a mass produced hammock. How tall are you? I'm 6' and any hammock under 10.5' is tough for me to get comfortable in. 11'X60" is better. I've camped in heavy rainstorms in my hammock and stay dry. Use good tree straps made from poly(not nylon) that won't stretch or wick water ont...
So, if I bought the the dutchware gear, would I have to make any changes in this end?
No you wouldn't have to. You could hook into that carabiner you have. But if it were mine I would take that thick rope out and replace with the rope that will come on the Dutch cinch buckle...

What do you have on the hammock ends? [link=(http://www.dutchwaregear.com/cinch-buckle-complete-suspension.html)]Dutchware hammock gear[/link] cinch buckle is the easiest system to use. The Dutch clips make hooking around the tree a breeze. If you have some sort of rope on the hammock you can rem...

re: Running a water line 2500 yards - Nodust
Ran my water line in 2003 and don't remember prices, but I'm sure it was under $1500. I used 2" PVC gasket not glued. That makes installation very fast. Two people can put pipe together as fast as the ditch witch. Just make sure to thrust block the first and last stick of gasketed pipe or it will co...
