re: New ZTR leaving wheel ruts in the yard - Nodust
Cut as low as you can one time. Then raise deck back to normal. Will look like crap for a few weeks but should heal up. Or rent a verticutter. ...

re: Dog behind vehicle? - Nodust
Gonna be a rough ride back there. Those things bounce around a good bit from what I've seen. Loose in the back of a SUV isn't much safer. Especially with a big dog. Don't want a 80 pound dog flying around the cab during a wreck. ...

Those banana spider webs may be the stickiest thing in the woods. I wear a head net sometimes just for that in the morning....

re: General Backpacking Thread - Nodust
I always used a hiking stick. Then decided to try trekking poles. Bought the cheapest ones I could find. $20 for a set at Academy. Figured if I liked them I would get a better set after these broke. Well three years later they are still going strong. I also use them to prop up my tarp above my hammo...
Could use a diluted dose if you're worried. It won't kill St aug though
That is correct. It was more the frequent applications that harmed it. We did some studies at LSU on it. ...
What do y'all use to charge your phones?
I bring an external battery pack I got off amazon for about $30. Gives me two charges and weighs 6oz. But I only bring it on trips when I'll be taking plenty of pictures with my phone. Otherwise I turn it off and don't charge it. ...

re: Who here has been backpacking in Big Bend National Park? - Nodust
For water, I go with a Sawyer squeeze bottle, Sawyer is the best water filtration system out there to carry around in your backpack. Lot easier than carrying around lots of water in your backpack.
There won't be much water to filter there. ...
