re: US planned to launch chemical attack in Syria

quote:

It was pointed out to me in a tweet that there were in fact TWO emails posted in the BritAm leak. One on “Iranian issue”. A quick inspect reveals fraud.

Within the Iranian issue email the header contains the following:

with ESMTP id nWRHL2NRVdAP for <pdoughty@britamdefence.com>;
Thu, 16 Oct 2012 23:57:18 +0800 (SGT)
Received: from smtp.clients.netdns.net (smtp.clients.netdns.net [202.157.148.149])
by titanium.netdns.net (Postfix) with ESMTP id 27D5F523A0E
for <pdoughty@britamdefence.com>; Thu, 16 Oct 2012 23:57:18 +0800 (SGT)

And within the Syrian email, the header contained the following:

with ESMTP id nWRHL2NRVdAP for <pdoughty@britamdefence.com>;
Mon, 24 Dec 2012 23:57:18 +0800 (SGT)
Received: from smtp.clients.netdns.net (smtp.clients.netdns.net [202.157.148.149])
by titanium.netdns.net (Postfix) with ESMTP id 27D5F523A0E
for <pdoughty@britamdefence.com>; Mon, 24 Dec 2012 23:57:18 +0800 (SGT)

The date is different, as one would expect but the TIME is exactly the same. This means that one or both of these emails has been edited from the email database. The forgery is clear, it’s time to burn this Trojan horse. Whoever made this leak purposely left this sign of fraud behind, in order to later point it out and use it as a platform to attack ALL leaks unfavourable to the US and to try and claim that a chemical weapon attack cannot possibly be a false flag.

Nice try.

So it was a false flag-false flag operation to protect US interests

Why do I have the feeling you would be all in on this if the R's controlled the presidency?

It's not so much that there is anything wrong with that, everyone defends their guy. The problem I have is that you and Vegas Bengal give off this false image that you guys are some objective, non partisan posters. It's annoying.

Why don't you just come out and say you are staunch leftists like Toddy and Rex?

I'm a liberal. I say this all of the time. I don't guess you keep up with all of my posts though.

Even a simple TD.com Poliboard search turns this up:

quote:

re: When did "liberal" voters become "progressive" voters? (Posted on 1/24/13 at 1:39 p.m. to Godfather1)
quote:

"Liberal" has taken on a negative connotation. Just look at the posters on this board who clearly espouse liberal ideas, yet shy away from the label.

I actually self identify as a liberal but Pew Research tells me I'm a post-modern. Not sure what that means. HELP!

This liberal would rather see him working on something like immigration rather than this.

Glad someone investigated further. Glad it's BS. Pissed that someone would attempt to do that.

If you guys wouldn't post each and every ludicrous unfounded allegation you read on every right wing extremist site, then you'd have more credibility to attack the president's position in Afghanistan which IMO is wrong. But you don't.

You don't discuss how the well off and business owners there are asking for asylum and how they've existed by sucking off the teet of American taxpayers but hats been what their economy is based on. And when we pull out, the country's political system will fall like a house of cards and it will be just like when the Russians pulled out, complete chaos setting up a vacuum for the Taliban to take control. And how this is inevitable and each wasted day there is a wasted life and wasted billion bucks.

But no. You care about whether he lies about shooting skeet.

You clearly didn't read the article, or you are just trolling.

The article (which is not substantiated, by the way) simply claims that a couple of people at a British (not US) defense contractor think that the US was fine with a plan that involve Qatar funding people who intend to use chemical weapons.

Even if true, that is not the same as the US actually planning to launch such an attack.

Daily Mail isn't a right wing extremist site. It's a credible English media source.

Depends. Some variables could make it very similar.

Let me ask you something there Cap'n.... It's been the mantra here on this board which I assume you agree that if you outlaw AR, the criminals will find a way to get them. Well let me correct you, the govt didn't walk guns into Mexico. Fact is there was nothing illegal about the purchases bc Arizona has virtually no gun restrictions. What the Obama admin did was know these were straw purchasers and allowed the sale.

Here are my questions:

Don't you support the right of these guys to buy these weapons? I mean if you're truly a libertarian.

And if the Feds would have stopped these particular purchases, do you believe it would have prevented these Mexican criminals from getting guns? Because, as we know, gun laws and the government don't stop criminals from getting guns.

I'll look forward to your reasoned answers.

re: US planned to launch chemical attack in Syria

Because what is going on in Afghanistan is very typical of what happens when the government tries to run something. It honestly goes without saying. If the government is throwing billions of money at some project there will be a lot of waste and mismanagement. It's part and parcel.

If a watchdog comes across some piece of information that is questionable and paints the government in a sinister light, it deserves further investigation no matter which party you affiliate with. It's in ALL of our best interest.

What was the point of "allowing" the purchases?

TIA
