Depends on how it is explained. Officer I open the car door and he was there. I felt threatened for my life and he came at me. I drew my gun and fired.

FWIW I wouldn't consider the area around St. Louis to be "safe." That part of LC is not unlike parts of NOLA - nice houses near bad parts of town. It's what, a couple blocks from the old LC-B? Plus it's right by Enterprise Blvd, which connects directly to North LC (not safe).

In any event - it sucks that happened. Good luck finding the perp and the passed-down gun.

I have no idea where you work, but the phrasing here is funny.

You have me pegged

I'm just a truck-driving, gun-toting liberal out here trying to make sure you pay for my healthcare.

I feel like I wear out the batteries in my fob. Still, I never leave a weapon in my truck. I've had my vehicle broken into twice and I'd just rather not feel responsible for another gun on the streets.

at least not at night. I'm more lackadaisical during the day, but my .38 is never left in my vehicle overnight.

This is what you say first:
quote:

I felt threatened for my life

This is what you say next:

"I want to talk to my lawyer."

Not really a bad place. However the walking traffic coming over from 1st Ave is what keeps me on my toes. My wife gives me a hard time but I get up in the middle of the night all the time if I hear a noise and check everything all out.
