and coaches are equally to blame for kids playing 1 sport if not much more than parents or the kids.. I heard several college coaches tell baseball players that played football "we will not sign you in the early period, if you are playing football we will sign you after football" ...

year round baseball is for very very very few people... my kid played fall ball once... and that was enough.... in fact of the 14 seniors he graduated with on his team only 1 played year round - the rest did not... including the 2 that made all metro and all state........
