It's not, but it am going composting toilet(don't have the property is on the edge of the city and has all the hookups already). As of now, I'm looking at the Sun-Mar electric, but haven't decided yet. Will also eventually be going the catch water route, but at this point, city hookup is easier and cheaper.

Only thing I see...don't pinch a smelly loaf before you go to bed....the smell may travel up.

Other than that...Nice looking cabin. I remember your original post a while back.

Run at least SOME kind of gas line for emergency heat in a winter storm- if not for cooking also.

If my wife would leave me, I would do something similar.

Very cool place. Any deer on the 23 acres?

My wife and I lived in something about 1/3rd of that size one summer. She'd do it again. Both of us think the current house is far too big.

Simpler the better.

I remember talking to you about cob homes. I like your setup, though.

Buckeye...what app did you use for your drawing?

I'm in the design/setup phase of doing something similar in the next couple months. I've tried Google SketchUp, but I can't get it to properly represent wall thickness like you have (pretty damn important with a Tiny Home).

It's called Home Design. It was a nice feature to determine wall thickness. It's sort of a pain though, as you have to map out individual rooms to use it(ie, I couldn't map out my 32x12 home, I had to do the bathroom, followed by the utility room, followed by the kitchen/living room). Makes it sort of a pain to get exact measurements.

Hmmm. Starting to sound like I may stick with good old fashion graph paper. Thanks for the info, and by the way, great job on the house shell. Looks really good. I like.

Cool looking start of a house.

I think you need a little wood stove to keep that sucker warm.

Ended up picking up these ceramic floor tiles for .95 a piece from Lowe's. Went with a slightly darker color, but I'll post pictures after the installation.

Awesome. It's good to see someone actually do it instead of just talk about it. My wife and I have discussed this sort of thing for years. We're wanting to relocate out west first though, and that's going to require some career moves. Maybe someday.

Anyway, great work. I'm jealous.

I'm open to come up next hunting season and scout the deer here for your farming operations if needed. I will bring everything I need to keep me contained during my visit.

I'll come with 4 just to help him with the gas & driving.
That cabin looks good & keep us updated with the progress

This looks awesome, how you going to heat it in the ohio winter? I was thinking of doing something like this if I get a more permanent job in central Pennsylvania, but winter can be a bitch for heating.
