re: Finished my holster - Teague
You didn't waste any time getting the project done, either. What's next on your plans?
I probably could have finished it in a couple of days. But, I had to wait on dye and a couple of other things I ordered. I don't have any immediate plans to do anything else. I'll probably ev...

re: Dog Food Discussion (Science diet quality?) - Teague
Is it still considered top shelf dog food?
It never was top shelf, and wouldn't have been considered so, if it hadn't been pushed by vet offices who were getting perks to do so. Definitely better foods out there to spend your money on. ...

re: Finished my holster - Teague
Where do you purchase your leather from?
The leather for this holster came from the Tandy leather store in Springfield, MO. I was out there for work about 5 years ago. I don't have much use for this heavy leather, so I still have most of it left. There are better places online t...

re: Finished my holster - Teague
Do you have a leather stiching machine or was that done by hand?
It's hand stitched.
Why are you upset?
Oh, I'm not upset. I'm fairly happy with it. The dye just didn't come out as I'd envisioned, and there are a few little things that could have been done...
first holster or first time working with leather?
First holster. I've done a fair amount of work with leather, making hawk hoods, dog collars, and such. This was a bit different than what I'm used to doing though. ...

Finished my holster - Teague
This is my first attempt at making a holster. I'm not thrilled with the dye job and some of the shaping. But, it fits well and is functional, so I won't complain much. ...

Probably. I think Alabama getting hammered over some damned textbooks and supplemental workbooks was the last thing the NCAA ever did or intends to do. ...

re: Beginner Archery equipment help - Teague
If we're talking about compound bows, as I assume we are, it has to be "fitted" in that it needs to be the correct draw length. Most bows will adjust a couple of inches or so. So, get his draw length checked, and make sure the bow is set to fit him. ...

re: I Know Nothing About 1911 Holsters - Teague
Learned it all in 4 hours, huh?
Yep. No, I didn't feel like I learned much at all about holsters. That's why I didn't buy one. But, I already know a fair amount about making things from leather. I figured I can make one, not be out much money, see how I feel about ...

re: Please recommend a family cabin style tent - Teague
We have one of the Eureka "Copper Canyon" models. I forget which one. We've only used it a few times, but I have no complaints. I think you're underestimating how big that tent is though. I know the first time I put ours up, I realized I could have gone with a smaller model. ...
