All my stories are due to my dumbassesness.

When we were about 14 there were 4 of us decided to jump off a bridge a lake greeson in AR. This bridge was probably 40 ft high, but might as well have been 100. First guy went, all is well. My buddies cousin is up next, except as soon as he jumps, a party barge is coming through the bridge from the other side. I'll never forget him trying to run sideways in mid air to avoid the barge.

He ends up landing right in front of it and luckily went deep enough in the water that he came back up after the barge had passed. Scary shite, but we jumped in right after that like the dumbasses that we were.

Same trip we had these college girls flashing us as we would drive by them on the jet ski. I'm sure they finally got sick is us driving by lol. Pretty Damn cool for a 14 year old.

Were you also the dumbass with the ipilot at Elf the other weekend???

Also, we seent a whale shark last year and proceeded to load the boat with YFT off of it. Was crazy catching one every drop in open water. Here's us marking the whale shark under the boat.

And the tuna ball behind it:

Wait. In what scenario was a f14 in combat with a phantom??? I did read about two Saudi f15s taking down Iranian phantoms back in the day though.

We had a fighter go supersonic near us and that was pretty damn cool.

I am assuming the phantom was a drone for practice.

I watched the Prop Stop Ferry sink about 10 years ago from the balcony. Scary and funny at the same time when you realize there are 30 drunks going down in the middle of the river.

That's a negative. I Met a guy on a fishing forum who just needed help with loading the boat and what not. So I took the opportunity for a free offshore trip. this was like 4 years ago. The suspect is still at large.

Anchored of the Massachusetts, right outside the pass in P'cola fishing in a tourney. Dead calm, no wind, hot and miserable. 20 or so boats anchored within a few hundred yards and you can hear most conversations and radios due to the calmness.

I notice a guy on a 20' CC messing with a chum bag tied to the back of his boat, he's in the boat closest to ours. He keeps picking up the bag and dropping it a few seconds later. After 10 or so minutes, I see him reach for a pole gaff and position himself to gaff something. He plunges the gaff into the water and immediately a shark tail appears over this guy's head, beating him for all its worth. 10 or so good pops on this guy's noggin, frees him of his sunglasses and hat and knocks him senseless. The thrashing shark eventually slings the gaff from this guy's hands and deposits it 20' from his boat. After the 10 seconds of commotion, the guy is standing there with no sunglasses, hat or gaff...all other boats give him a standing ovation.

Lesson, don't gaff a green 10' hammerhead.

I forgot about this, but I wasn't there for it. My brother sent me the video of a whale shark getting up close and personal. They're in a 42' invincible. This was in 2015. Pretty damn cool. Whale shark

Pops and I went fishing with my uncle and cousin in Weeks Bay. We were anchored up and catching some really nice reds and croakers. My cousin and uncle and sitting on the bench in the back of the boat tight-lining dead shrimp when all of a sudden a 12" mullet jumps out of the water and knocks my cousin out cold. It was one of the funniest moments I have seen.

september 1987 in the Med, it was a blue on blue kill. USN 1 USAF 0.

It was not a drone, it was a series of communications errors. I saw the air crew eject then saw them up close and personal - it was not a drone.

Somewhere out there is a heavily redacted audio of the sequence that led up to this. it did end with the RIO asking the pilot "WHAT THE FACK did you just do" as the sidewinder did it's work..... Followed by frantic "MAYDAY MAYDAY we just splashed a FOX 4"

When I was about 15. A buddy and myself took his dad's boat for a joy ride. We went from the camp next to the bridge going over Bay St Louis to the gulf and along the beach.

At some point the boat quit working, not sure what happened, we are about 100 yards or so from shore and it is calm so we jump in and start to swim and try to pull the boat.

While we are pulling the boat a dolphin pops up about 2-3 feet from me. My buddy said he has never seen a person go from swimming to back in the boat without touching anything before.

Freaked me the F out. We finally got a tow from a passer by to a fishing pier.

No, this was around 2005-2006. I didn't have my boat until 2005. I've heard that the one we watched sink wasn't the first, but I think they stopped the ferry service after this one sunk.
ETA: I may be wrong and making that last part up, but I remember hearing that and don't remember seeing it again but its been several years since I've been out there.
