I agree. If I went the sportfish route I'd probably go with an express walk-around in the 40 to 50 ft. range. I can't imagine having boat and house problems on the same receipt

I can definitely imagine.
If money wasn't an issue, I'd have a sportfisher in Costa Rica, and a badass CC to make runs in the GOM.

Agreed, and Gravois is still building personal boats, just have to fit it in the schedule. Finished one a few weeks ago.

What kind of boat did u get?

I'm throwing a wrench into this discussion. Many boats mentioned are tops no doubt. But for the dude who likes to fish a little and cruise a little, the Concept 36' with triple 300's does me just fine.
