That thing is awesome. Anyone know how much gas and the mpg's for the freeman 33 and freeman 40?

According to something I saw (don't remember where) it said 2.5-4mph which seems very high

Damn if thats right, with gasses price like they are now, the boat would practically pay itself off after a couple of years compared to a mono hull.

ETA: Freeman 33. Scroll down to look at Suzuki and yamaha numbers. LINK

This is my Contender and I have fish offshore in many of the boats named here with the exception of the Freeman. The best riding, fastest boat I have been on was the Invicible 33. I would trade mine for one in a heart beat.

We have a 33 World Cat CC and that 33 Freeman makes me jealous, lol!

I had came very close to buying a worldcat, but held off. Then I got sick. Sucks! I did talk to Billy Freeman a couple times about building one for me. Now that he is poping glass ones out in the 33', that would be the way to go.

I friend of mine has one. I had fished with him a few times. Nice boat, but still no better ride then what you have, just faster in flat seas.

They are not cheap and be ready to open the savings book. The good thing is, it would be the last offshore boat you would need to buy.

It is a dream boat for the chop of the Gulf of Mexico. Fuel burn numbers are great compared to a Mono hull of same size and HP. Speeds are close too!
