IMO Jupiter

My uncle has a 32 w/ twin 300 yams
Used to have a 32 regulator w/ twin 300 yams

Jupiter is faster smoother dryer and prettier

Although I compare by calling the regulator a Cadillac, but the Jupiter is a Ferrari

Pretty sure Gravois is out of business

No, they are just strictly commercial/government now.

We just bought a Gravois and one of the guys we bought it from is having a new one built right now?

A regulator with Yamahas is definitely better than a regulator with mercs, unless keeping your boat in the shop is your thing.

All verados know is life in the shop. It's just what they are accustomed to.

Pay the right price and anything is possible. I was down there at their new metal shark building about 2 months ago and they said they are all commercial/military now. I'm guessing they still make boats for the occasional recreational boater for the right price but all those govt contracts are too hefty to pass up.

I rode in a 39 contender the other day, Im convinced that boat is the finest boat in the gulf. It does 67 with 3 300s and gets 1.5 mpg cruising at 40-45.

good, because if you'd said mercs I'd have to call you a liar.

What kind of boat do you have, and do you go out of GI often?

I don't have a boat capable of handling the gulf, I might fish saltwater once or twice a year

I've got a 16' Cajun Special with a 48hp Johnson. Actually my dad's. He was looking into getting a bay boat a year ago or so, but it'll be a while now before he does that and I won't be able to afford a boat of my own for a good long time.

As nice as Gravois boats are, I've heard the same. Heard you'll get beat to shite on a rough day. I think their advantage comes in their durability and the fact that you can beat them to shite if you wanted, and they'll stand up to it.

But at the same time, I know very little about offshore boats.
