I got to see Redd Foxx do his act in Vegas about a year before he died. It was me and my dad and I tipped enough so that our seats were next to the stage.

Slappy White was the opening act and he was probably funnier than Redd. But just being that close to Redd was awesome, cuz me and my pop were both in awe of him.

My dad couldn't hear very good and Redd once looked down to him and said "you ain't heard a word I've said have you". I guess Redd could sense that he was almost deaf. My dad just kept smiling.

Redd chain smoked and his ashes fell on my pop once.

Hannibal Burress

very good comic....

i still like kevin hart, but he's getting a little too overexposed via movies and appearances and shite, and his stand up is becoming a rehash of that, so he's falling off a bit...

all time, steven wright.... something about his deadpan routine...

right now, key and peele have me rolling though... the substitute teacher skits are hilarious...

was very hit and miss for me... some of his shite was brilliant, some of it was just stupid... i tend to attribute the latter to his use of heroin....

George carlin, no doubt. Louis CK has even gone on record saying his career was in the shitter until he started modeling his schtick more along the line of carlin's, as in Louis started having no filter with his routine.

Carlin's airline sketch always cracks me up
