I like Amy Schumer's stand up. Her Comedy Central show has some really good skits, as well.

Attell is great. Katt Williams is not funny at all in standup. A couple of his movie appearances were though.

Carlin. He was the greatest, though he went way to the left before he died. Saw him live in 87.

My favorite. I love the way he delivers and they aren't jokes that rely on cussing or cheap fart jokes, they always take half a second to get and then you realize how clever it is.

With that said he isn't the most popular. He isn't afraid to hit more taboo topics (such as rape) If you're the type that understands he is just a stand up comedian and don't what he takes seriously you'll enjoy his work.
