re: Suggestions on Where to Buy a Comfortable Leather Sofa? - Nawlens Gator
Hancock and Moore make hands down the most comfortable leather furniture (and best made). I looked at many brands but when I sat on their furniture the difference was obvious. They're pricey but you get what you pay for. I've had my living room set (sofa, 2 chairs, 2 ottomans) for over 10 yrs an...

re: Louisiana's Specks Five Years Later--a fishing guides take on impact of BP spill - Nawlens Gator
[quote]Mack the knife i guess i'm the only guy on here that is old enough to remember NO limit, size or number, on specs. we used to load the ice chest with "cigar specs". so did everyone else. 25 fish per person is fine. the only ones that would want to see it reduced are the guides because it ...

I use to put out a sock filled with thistle for them in winter. Now they devour the black sunflower seeds in flocks. They have left my back yard now for the summer and typically return when it gets bitter cold in late Jan, early Feb....

re: How common is this duck? - Nawlens Gator
I use to have a lot of woodies under my deer feeder and in my wood duck houses. The whistling ducks have run them off and taken over. Saw 3 of them walking around and whistling near the bank so I started whistling (short high pitch). They started walking toward me to within 10 yards. Wish I ha...

re: Bill would set size limit for crawfish to be sold - Nawlens Gator
What a nit-wit. How would they even begin to enforce such a law. Many seafood outlets sell 1 1/2 tons a week of boiled crawfish. Wonder what the fine would be if one of those crawfish only measured 3 1/4 inches. Some politicians have absolutely ZERO common sense. ...

re: OT Engineers- Question about filling a diesel tank - Nawlens Gator
If the end of the fill hose has to be raised above the top liquid level to fill, then top fill will take more pressure than bottom fill. This is probably always the case since you wouldn't be added fuel if the level was already up to the feed nozzle. This all assumes the pump is below the tank....
