alot of dudes posting that their SOs had dreams but i found out that apparently i talk in my sleep and said another chicks name recently. havent been able to slide out of this one yet.

I got into a bad argument with wife once because of how I was folding the towels. I rarely fold the clothes, but I decided to help out. I half vertically, then double over twice. well, the wife sees what i have done and instead of thanking me, she criticized how i folded them...and it was on from there.
apparently, she halves them vertically then uses a triple fold (i guess putting them into 1/3rds)
anywho, i dont help with the folding much anymore.

Supposedly, the dream came about after I had talked to the woman while the now ex and I were out together on a social occasion a few nights before and ran into this woman.
That was enough to fuel the stupidity that followed for about a week of her giving me the silent treatment and cold shoulder before I got it out of her what the problem was.
Guess it didn't help that I laughed my arse off at how insane that was and that led to the breakup that left me feeling like I dodged a bullet.

My now wife was pretty drunk one night early on in our dating life. Took my keys out of my jacket pocket at dinner and then tried to convince me that I, the DD, gave my keys to her and got mad because I got mad and didn't believe her.

Oh I forgot the BEST one ever. My Ex would always throw this out at me when I did something really nice.

For real. Being a good dad, husband, and provider was just a show so she could turn me down for months at a time.

Hard to pick just one, but one that stands out years later is:
Driving her vehicle with some other hippies on phish tour in 1998 up the East Coast, going through a rain storm.
She decided I had the windshield wipers going too fast, that I could probably be just fine if I slowed them down a little bit. I said no, this is the speed I feel comfortable with right now. This angered her. The other girl in the car took my side. This sent her into a fit. A full blown caniption fit. I hadn't heard of the term bipolar at the time, but this bitch was bipolar.

My wife got mad the other day because it was 100 degrees outside and the AC was set on 65 but could only cool the house to 67 and I refused to call the AC repairman to fix it
She just couldn’t be convinced the AC was working fine and it was so hot it was impossible to cool the house to 65 at 3 pm

I think the people on here that keep theirs at 78-80 are crazy but 65 is pretty chilly

I keep mine on 65 year round and just flip it from heat to AC depending on if the outside temp is above or below 65

there's a pile of ridiculous, but this one is the one that comes up most often in terms of stupid.
when our kids were younger, i would go to the gym or run very early in the morning, around 5 AM and then she would go or take the kids with her (we homeschooled for a few years and i worked from home.) this was our way for a few years.
once a week, i'd stop and grab breakfast tacos on my way home. i brought her some, she said no thanks. then i'd ask and she always turned me down because she was about to go to the gym. she asked me to not bring them in the house because the smell made her hungry/nauseous. i did not want them to be eaten as soon as i got them because they were piping hot and the cheese usually melted by the time i got home.
so even though it wasn't an every day or every week thing , i'd leave the tacos in the car, wait for her to leave and then go get them out and enjoy.
one time her car had a flat and she asked to take mine. i said "sure, let me grab something." i went and kept the tacos in my hand away from her because she said she didn't want to be around them.
she said "what are you hiding??" i said "tacos. and i'm not hiding, you've made it a point you don't want to see them before you go to the gym."

my mom and i fought over this for years. we grew up about 4 hours from her sisters. we were close and i loved them, but i leaved and cleaved.
when i was 25, i moved about 45 minutes away from said sisters. love them and my cousins, but they live in a town of 1k people and i have 0 reason to ever go out there. every single time she came to town she asked me to come out and see them. my wife and kids didn't really want to and after the younger years, grew out of easter egg hunts and things like that, so i just showed up myself once and it pissed her off. she said she wanted to show off her grandkids to her sisters.
i said, i'm glad you're proud of them, but i'm not driving them 45 minutes one way to spend time with people they don't know to do something they don't want for you to show them off. it pissed her off for a few years but she stopped asking and it's mostly fine.

My wife started a fight with me last year on Father's Day because I apparently didn't buy shredded cheese at the grocery store earlier that week.
