72 hours fasting, 24-36 hours eating keto. You lift using abbreviated reverse pyramid training. As far as exercise other than lifting, walks only.

You do this until you reach your goal body fat %. Doesn't usually take more than 4-6 weeks. If it's going to take longer then that, I would suggest a 2 week break using keto at maintenance with carbs twice a week.

Repeat. This should be on the fitness board though.

You can’t scarf cheeseburgers and chocolate cake while snacking on skittles all day but think you’re going to run 10 miles a day and lose weight. Your body will revolt against you if you feed it shite and do high calorie burning exercises.

I agree that you get a little less efficient, but I'm a prime example that you can in fact do this. I was training 15+ hours a week for a triathlon. I would regularly eat like a glutton. Like go for a bike ride, then eat a half dozen donuts. And that was taking 900 calorie drinks with me on the bike ride. I maintained or lost a little throughout the whole process. And I realize that maintaining kind of sounds like I'm proving your point, but I think one might underestimate the crap I ate. Like cookies with every meal, two breakfasts, etc.. If I would have wanted to just eat healthy stuff and ate to fullnes, I'd have lost a lot. You burn the calories, and the food won't hit the waste line.

Again, I realize that too much of an extreme will change your metabolism, etc.. But for 4 months or so, I ate whatever, burned it off, and probably lost 5-7 lbs in the process.
