Weight loss and staying in shape, it isn't that difficult.

Why do so many people think it is hard to lose weight and stay relatively lean?

The "secret": Burn more calories than you take in to lose weight. Burn off the majority of your daily calories to not gain weight.

You don't have to really give up most foods you are already eating; you just need to cut back on junk and added sugars.

It is that simple, yet so many people cannot figure it out or don't want to accept the fact.

Sorry....people at the gym today...geez...Weight watchers point counting fools. Lol

I honestly have more respect for fatass people.

It takes true dedication to not giving a single frick to just get to 800 pounds

If it wasn’t so hard or difficult, it wouldn’t be a multi million dollar industry.

Honestly I don't blame short folks for being workout freaks. Gotta get some confidence from somewhere.

Actually it is sorta simple. Was 6'3 after shrinking an inch over the years but had gotten up to 245 of bad weight. @ 60. So I said hell with it, I love lunch and love eating @ home @ night with family so I just trained myself to grabbing the morning paper on the way to work and reading it while downing a couple cups of coffee with no creamer and drinking a glass of water. I missed the two over, grits, bacon and toast about 2 or 3 days then it was like it never existed. Made my daily work plan, read the fish wrapper and off to work with a day planner. I began losing about 2 pounds a week and was 200 in no time. I began working out military style, pushups, chins, etc 5 days a week for 15 minutes a day @ age 67. I'm 73, 6'2.5 182 with a 34 inch waist and a 46 inch chest. 120 over 72 BP and 53 resting heart rate. And outside the military I had hardly exercised at all in my long life. Short (15 min) military workouts, 2 meals a day. Nobody believes I'm in my 70's. Most folks think 50's.
