I never called those geckos.

I called the ones that only came out at night, were pale, and see-through geckos.

I will gladly trade you every spider, earwig, and mosquito I have for all of your geckos.

I let a few geckos out near baton 2in the early eighties. They're native to Timbuktu. I never thought they'd become such a pest. They eat insects.

The only downside is they shite all over your siding (in my carport). Otherwise, I like having them around to take care of the spiders

The anoles we just call lizards.
The see through ones are adorable and eat mosquitoes and roaches, they can live at my house anytime.

No... Anoles are the green lizards that can turn brown.
Or the striped ones. Geckos are white almost clear.
Slower. Their tails break off easy.

I've never seen one eat a roach. I'd like to see that. It would be quite the battle. Some of those roaches are huge.

I’ve never seen a really big one, but Mediterranean geckos can grow up to 6 inches. I bet they look cool that big.
I typically don’t kill spiders as long as they aren’t in my bedroom, but wasps and roaches are always on my death list.

I saw one a few years ago and had no idea what it was. Now they are everywhere around the house (Alabama). They must be rapidly spreading around the southeast.

It's a trip to go outside at night and turn a flashlight on the walls. Those things are everywhere. I sometimes even see them scurrying around on the sidewalk.

Geckos keep the bugs away. The look a little weird, but because of them, I hardly ever have any spiders or roaches in the house.

Me either. I just called those lizards. I used to catch them and use them for temporary earrings.

Again, me too. Those are geckos. I have 3 or 4 of them that stay on my bathroom window outside at all times. They've been there for months.

After reading this thread I don't know if OP is talking about green lizards or the white/clear geckos that come out at night.
