re: Kappa Sig House...When is it coming down? - supadave3
I was working for a catering company and delivered and sold beer to a Halloween party at that house in 2008. The Yin Yang Twins were performing there and I had no idea who they were, although I did walk up on them smoking weed outside right before the show. The house was pretty much a shithole...

re: Spinoff Thread: Worst "Cajun/Louisiana" Restaurant Experience - supadave3
Boutins

Yep, they are closed now.
The only thing I'll miss about that place is the Poche's plate lunches (located inside Boutins) that I would sometimes pick up on weekends. That being said, I haven't been there in about a year so I guess I won't really miss it ...

re: Capital One Bank - supadave3
Capital One sucks. I had a second mortgage with them one time and they applied 4 payments to the wrong account and I didn't find out until I was served papers by a city constable. Luckily, I was able to get it all straightened out and corrected but it was a pain in the arse nonetheless....
i heard about doing oxy or similar shite and didnt think white trash immediately.
That may be your experience but it doesn't really hold true overall. One of the guys that I know that OD'ed last year comes from a white, very rich and successful family. I have a close connection ...

re: Heroin ring busted in Mandeville/Covington - supadave3
It's unreal how bad of a problem heroin is becoming. As of last Thursday, I now know of 3 people that have died from heroin overdoses in the last 12 months. Crazy how deadly that drug is. I'm so thankful that heroin wasn't around when I was young and in my drug phase. There is little doubt th...

re: Did you ride the Miss River Gondola built for 84 World's Fair? - supadave3
The only thing I remember about the Fair is that the Space Shuttle Enterprise was there, the gondola, and that the entrance had a mermaid with starfish over her nipples. That's my only 4 memories....

re: Fishing in Ramah - supadave3
FYI: Not much luck at Ramah. Like everyone said, the water was very high and it was hard to find a decent spot to fish. Did catch a few bream and one small cat. Watched some old black dudes next to us catch a big arse gar, which of course they kept. Had a good time though, will try agai...
