Not totally true but I get what you're saying. From the little I know about Cork's situation it is likely that the house was targeted more so than the people. They knew it was younger guys with nice cars and plenty of people coming and going with equally nice cars. They probably thought it would be an easy hit. I don't think they just picked a random house and ambushed it.

Don't have one in EVERY room but I have a few scattered through the house. There would have been 6 bodies if they had to kick in the door jamb. Just enough time to get to the AK47 in the closet. AKA Chopper

and if so, what do people always say when there is a house occupied by blacks with nice cars and black friends with nice cars coming and going all the time?

Again I'm not accusing cork of anything just pointing out how the narrative of two exact same situations changes depending on skin color of the victims.

White drug dealers drive crappy cars. Black drug dealers drive nice cars. That's just science.

Not a white versus black issue...
I don't know you were in any of the old threads, but there were PLENTY of people speculating that Cork and/or his friends were dealing drugs or involved in some type of criminal activity. One poster flat out asked if they were dealing in this thread!

Personally, I doubt that this was just a completely random event. Too many perps...
But, as one of the friends posted in this thread, there were frequently BMWs, Cadillacs and a Lexus at the house. That could have been enough to get the attention of criminals and inspired them to rob the house.

Literally no one has brought up skin color but you. I'm not sure what you're trying to do here. Would it have been better had it been 6 white guys that kicked down Cork's door? What is skin relevant to this thread at all?

A young guy in Mobile was killed in a home invasion a few years ago simply because he he stopped at the wrong ATM on the way home. Where some low-life's were planning to follow a person from the ATM and rob them.

I don't doubt it, but that's not completely random.

Those perps decided to stake out an ATM, watch for someone (in a nice car, presumably) get a few hundred out, follow them home and then take their money, car, widescreen, etc.

Sure it is. He had no association with those murderers.

it's all relative to the point of view

From the victim, it was a random act of violence

From the perp, there was something that caused them to act

There was also another violent home invasion less than 9 blocks away within two weeks of this incident.

I don't think either of us implied or said they deserved anything that happened. I'm just playing messageboard detective and wondering if any possible connections were established between the killers and anyone at the house. LIke I mentioned. A nice guy I knew was a drug dealer. The really good kind. His cousin was a thug. His cousin found out about a rich white boy customer and went robbed him on his own. Pissed off everyone.

Could be completely innocent in that a neighbor's friend from out of town visited and saw nice cars and made assumptions about white boys in their hood. Who knows. It's a message board. We're just wondering. Nobody is diminishing the victims' rights to grieve or feels like these kids deserved anything that happened that night.

I hate armed robbery and think it should be mandatory life in prison when a firearm is discharged or even attempted(jammed gun for example).

That's what I was getting at. Not just that they had weed and maybe anticipated drama. Maybe A pizza delivery boy could have brought them a pizza and noticed one resident with a lot of money in hand. That's all it takes. I'm just wondering if any of this was ever followed up on to lock up everyone involved.

I understand that the victim had no previous association with the culprit. If he was the first person the perps saw at that ATM, he withdrew $20, walked away and then they robbed him; I would agree it was completely random. But I'd bet he wasn't the first person the perps saw, but he WAS the best looking target of the ones they had seen.

Roach, you can speculate all you want on a message board as to what you think may have been their motive. But as someone close to the situation, I can tell you that anyone who thinks it was because they were dealing drugs in the house is flat out wrong.

Did you not see where denyed said that his friends in now way shape or form new the gunmen??

Whatever the reason was for the break in... was not the fault of the victims.

What the frick is so hard to believe about that?!
