re: Caught a few marsh bass this morning - Black
Bass are on fire in the reserve and areas around Segnette, Salvador, and Des Allemands.
Fact Must've caught 50+ bass last weekend that were 11" or less. Any other day, it wouldn't have been a problem, but weren't what we were looking for the day of our club tourney...

re: St. James Boat Club reopened? - Black
It's not. And i think it will be a while. According to the sign on the bridge that runs over the canal, it seemed to have structural damage from the flooding. But that's a partial guess as i've tried to read it while passing it at 70mph...

re: Where to fish Friday - Black
This is what I was looking to do. Stay in the deeper and cast to the shallow humps circled in red. I'd look for structure on the bottom or fish on my finder....if it's completely empty, I'd abort the mission. Feel free to check those out and let me know... [IMG]http://i629.photobucket.com/al...

re: Headed to Des Allmendes for the first time Sunday, a quick question - Black
So with Humble, do people run to whichever "cut" (I am not sure what the right word would be), and then go slow/troll through there? Would be rude to run through those small off shoots. re: Headed to Des Allmendes for the first time Sunday, a quick question - Black
Fish the launch canal. There's a tourney out there Saturday, and all the fish will be released right there at the launch. My wife caught a 3#er in there this past weekend on a freaking cork and mini-jig. There was a grass float stretched all the way across Humble this past weekend. If it's still ...
