God had a reason for that gun jamming.

One of my sisters best friends was fighting with her husband and he pulled out a 38 and shot her directly in the middle of the forehead at point blank range, the scar is literally dead center, before putting it to his head and killing himself. Somehow it didn't get past her skull, it didn't even knock her out, and she was as good as new physically within a few months. shite like that and Corkys story does make you wonder if someone is looking out for you...

Wow. I just read this whole thread. I really have no words to offer other than I hope you find closure. Can't put myself in your shoes. No way. No how

I am really curious about that part because the articles said it was 6 men trying to bust in but I have only heard about the 2. IMO, and according to the law I believe, the other 4 are also guilty of murder so I would love to know an answer.

ETA: I obviously wish it never happened but since it did I wish it would have happened out here in Maricopa County. Sheriff Joe and his crew would have had them on death row years ago.

I believe this.

Too long of a story to post but I know someone who was spared by a gun jamming (even though her husband was killed.)

How about that Tulane student like a month or 2 ago that saved that girl in the FQ and the thug tried to murder him and the gun jammed? I think a lot of the guns jamming is just due to thugs having cheap guns that they never maintain but my sisters friend getting shot in the middle of the forehead from 3 feet away straight on with a pretty powerful round and it not even getting through her skull is just nuts. The doctors said her skull was thicker than average but they still couldn't explain it, they said anyone that gets that gunshot is dead. Period.

ETA: before someone calls BS technically it did make into her skull but only the tiniest part touched her actual brain, it was stuck in her skull touching the brain and the docs did have to remove it.

Yeah, the Tulane med student too.

I believe in things like guardian angels and when it's your time to die, it's your time, regardless of if it is by natural causes or by accident or violence.

No. Humans are much more resilient in times of trama then we want to try and fathom. It isn't an angel. It's more statistics and modern medicine.

I'm just stating what I believe and it has nothing to do with modern medicine. I believe everyone has a time stamp on them and how they die isn't a factor.

Does the defense really think they can win and thus did not deal or was no deal offered? Everyone testifying for this one too?

Here's to thug #2 sharing his brother's fate.

Wow, just read this thread. Prayers to you for enduring over 5 years of this. This brings back memories for me, one of my good friends was also murdered in his home during a robbery. Very similar circumstances to what I've read here. God bless you and your loved ones.
