I'm thinking of Lakewood.

Maybe in the next month or so. Greens are just awesome. It's like a mini TPC.

Only thing about Lakewood is how crowded it can be.

It can get crowded, but it always moves. I've never thought, to hell with this. I'm never coming back.

I live on the northshore and grew up living in Beau Chene. Its really not that great. they always have problems with greens and stuff (just hired a new guy). I mean its nice but nothing amazing. Im not really a fan of money hill personally. Plus its out if fricking Egypt

I'm starting to come to the realization that as I'm about to graduate and move to a different state that I'll lose the perks of my parents CC membership. It's what I grew up on and will definitely be hard to lose. I know I sure as hell can't justify a couple grand a year to a CC fresh out of college when I definitely won't be ballin.

The true definition of a first world problem.

Has the course been renovated? When I lived in BR in the 90's it was pretty mediocre. $250.00/month would seem high for that course.

if you spend 400.00 a month on range ball's then you practice too much! you need to go out and try playing golf.

U club is worth the price as it's a drop in the bucket compared to some of the nicer clubs in the BR area, CCL,BRCC. U club pool is terrible but the other amenities makes up for it. The course is one of the best I've played. Guess that's why it's almost impossible to get a decent tee time at this place.

golf in south la is so freaking cheap. People don't understand. The initiation at a course like that elsewhere would run close to 30k

this! If you were in FL a course like the UC would be 30k to join and $1200/month. Believe me I have looked. 75k gets you a membership to lake nona, and I was told upwards of 150K to be a member at isleworth and interlachen

I will just stick to my Island membership dues for $75/month and pay for the cart as I go.

So why join a club?

I joined greystone this year. It's affordable and there's no initiation fee right now but I know a lot of people despise the course.

Doesn't bother me and it's close to my house
