Ah yes, calling someone a "fat frick" and a "piece of shite". The international symbols of impartiality.
Does he represent crossfit?
You people tell me all the time every box and coach are different....yet now my thoughts on ONE person, impugn the rest?
odd.

What is your motivation for going pages upon pages of bashing crossfit every time it comes up? Talk about sophomoric

I definitely look down on people who wear gloves in the gym. I don't know why, but I do.
Normal workout maybe, but 106 reps on a pull-up bar? That's just stupid. You're just asking for your hands to be ripped apart. You would wear gloves if you were shoveling dirt, chopping wood, etc.

doubtful.
Because If you read the article I linked, he even links the facts he presents to the article they came from:

So it isnt opinion. It is peer mediated journal publication research.
Fail. Fail hard.
How can compare 4 sports and only show 1 article? The one article only shows the injury rates for crossfit. Additionally how can you do a comparison study with no control group?

Article on Thorisdottir from a few hours ago..

Despite the outcome for Thorisdottir, she stayed upbeat, promising to come back next year and regain her title as the “Fittest Woman on Earth.”

She's also won the CF games, I think twice. Like she didn't know what the frick she was in for. They made her do it!!!!!!!!!1111
Seriously, what about the other 80 athletes that came out unharmed?

It is not just crossfit threads. He starts arguments, calls people weaklings, etc in every workout thread posted.

Started a thread at 9am, still going at it at 2pm.
Maybe Crossfit can borrow him lunk alarm to help prevent those injuries

I actually like crossfit but I have to agree with every word of the OP article.
The games are degrading into an exercise version of a marathon.
Frankly, it would be far more informative if the games didn't vary in length year to year because then, you'd see people keep getting better in relation to the prior year.

Cute title but the article states nothing negative about Crossfit. Try again.

If they didn't vary it no one would watch.

It says Powerlifting, Bodybuilding, Running, and Crossfit are dangerous!!!!!
Or, it's an avenue for the author to pimp his myofascial relief exercises. These will SAVE your life!

A total of 132 responses were collected with 97 (73.5%) having sustained an injury during CrossFit training. A total of 186 injuries were reported with 9 (7.0%) requiring surgical intervention. An injury rate of 3.1 per 1000 hours trained was calculated. No incidences of rhabdomyolysis were reported. Injury rates with CrossFit training are similar to that reported in the literature for sports such as Olympic weight-lifting, power-lifting and gymnastics and lower than competitive contact sports such as rugby union and rugby league. Shoulder and spine injuries predominate with no incidences of rhabdomyolysis obtained.
