...I said injuries can happen. What more do you want?
Be smart and you should be fine. And that advice is solid for any exercise. That's all I'm saying.

But we can look at a large amount of aggregate data.
CrossFit has much higher injury rates than other known firms of exercise that have, themselves, greater than average injury rates.
These are facts at this point.
When you have programming so bad a majority have injuries, or you give an elite athlete kidney failure... It isn't that they can happen, they are a direct result of bad programming.

And according to your link, the highest rate of injury comes from....running.
Well shite, looks like I need to take running completely out of my regiment.
I'm not an expert in knowledge or technique, but I'm smart about what I do in the gym. Two years and not a single injury to speak of. And I've never known anyone to have serious issues where I go because I was smart and found a place with excellent coaches.
If you don't want to do crossfit, don't do it. But it does a lot of good for a lot of people.

Again, we are taking about the aggregate. I'm sure your personal experience is meaningful, but we are taking on the average. In general.

An argument can be made for this......
2 to 3 days per week of high intensity, non sub threshold repetitive actions will likely be the minimal effective dose for most (strength training)
Running and traditional "cardio" is often not necessary and a waste of time (unless you do it for recreational pleasure)
Good foundational info can be found below:

But isn't that the point? An argument can be made against any form of exercise. Cpt and those on here just seem to have a hard on for knocking crossfit.
Yet you'll see some of the same people talk about how much they hate fatties. So basically they want people to exercise, just only in the manner that they see fit.

Why does me posting the realities of injury within crossfit upset you so much?

Not upset. Honestly you come across as though crossfit killed your mother and raped your father, and I don't really get the hate it gets on here.

Car travel produces more injuries and death over walking. Do you prefer to walk everywhere?
Why hate on it? Just don't do it. I don't hate on your lifestyle choices.
Would you rather people be unhealthy and obese?

By posting an article written by a crossfit games competitor and other articles?
That means I'm angry and hate?
Wow. Me thinks you are so emotionally invested in crossfit that someone else commenting with facts that run contrary to your personal view makes you really upset.
So you lash out and project. Sad really.

Please, I can't wait to hear this answer....

You have an agenda against Crossfit since its emergence has cost you clients.
If someone wanted to show correlations of injuries during other forms of working out, it would be nearly impossible because most don't say X is a reason why Y was injured.
There are more injuries daily from running than those occured during Crossfit but it isn't documented as such.

Yes, you caught me. I'm extremely emotionally invested.
Just trying to offer an opinion based on a couple years of personal observation rather than the usual "if you do it, you'll get rhabdo" type comments that pop up here (not that you've said that, but I see comments like that all the time).

Exercise routines don't typically have such substantive differences in purposes. If one program is more dangerous than another, that is a major negative. It doesn't mean people aren't free to assume the risks, but it's a valid criticism nonetheless.
