Looking at 15-20" of snow here in central Indiana. Better equipped than Louisiana to handle snow for sure, but that's going to strain resources even up here. Will take a few days to dig out from.

Looks like we’re on the border again. Hopefully not a lot of snow. I’m over it.

I’d like to but I have all sorts of work issues to tie up last min. So does the gf.

Might just leave early Wednesday night and sleep at the airport

Looks like the Texarkana area could experience a major ice storm due to the Ouchitah Mountains slowing down the coldest air and preventing snow for them. Temps will still be slightly below freezing with heavy rain.

I’m not sure that’s going to be any better. You may just be stuck at the airport if you do that.

Pics of her, possibly she could come early (and often).

You could pick her up in Quepos.

TIA.

Cheers, have a great time, good luck getting out.

Dry season on the Pacific Coast is wonderful.

Sounds like that's prime time for the bad stuff. DFW not really equipped to handle the ice/snow. I got caught there once at night on a transfer. No hotels or cabs available. Not a good time.

Hell you could get him to Houston and he'd face minimal issues but MIA a sure thing.

Sorry if I'm causing confusion. What airline and routing are you on thursday? So far no waivers up yet but I'll check when I get home tonight

That -1 in Dallas was one night and due to the model having a lot of snow on the ground. It gets still and clear on the model, and the temperature crashes due to perfect radiational cooling conditions. The airmass isnt going to be that cold, with teens on areas that have ice vs snow.

Listen to Cusetiger! There is zero point in going to the airport Wednesday night. In a worst case scenario you are trapped in the airport for days. If you can’t leave earlier Wednesday then stay home and see if it’s even possible to get to the airport for your flight Thursday. If you cant get there then flights are surely not coming/going either. Stay safe and do the smart thing.
