ECMWF doesnt show a difference in rain/ice but thats an icy run for most of Texas based on the temps.

I'll update the OP as we go forward, and hopefully this ends up a bust.

GFS has my area with 14" - 16" of snow from this system. 18"-20" around St. Louis and Chicago. We'll see, it's been pretty wrong on every system that has come through this winter, so far.

What we sent to Houston after Katrina will survive a nuclear blast.

If you were hoping differently, sorry.

Prayers sent.

The good news is this shouldnt be as cold and probably not as long lasting either.

Im still getting my head around some details though, as the Nor'easter has been my focus last couple of days.

There was snow for BR on many of the runs from a few days ago. I'm holding out hope.

Stop hoping. Its gonna be pretty warm aloft.

That ain't it.

20 degrees at the surface but about 37 a few thousand feet off the deck in North Texas Thursday morning. You hate to see it.

The Beto Campaign is cheering this on as he has run his campaign on one single issue, the energy grid

That's all their campaign has

I'm not saying that it will, but I will say that a good many people said the same last year.
